Gracie Renee Holland-Nichols

Gracie Renee Holland-Nichols, 42, of Casa, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026. Gracie was born January 13, 1984, in Morrilton, Arkansas, to Timothy Flewellen and Tanya Hunt. Though born to them, she was lovingly raised by her grandparents, the late Ollie and Paulette Flewellen, who helped shape the woman she became. Gracie spent her life in Perry County and was a proud graduate of Perryville High School. She worked in several roles throughout her life, including positions in banking, corrections, retail, and most recently as a security officer. No matter where she worked, Gracie enjoyed jobs that allowed her to serve others. Helping people and looking out for those around her was simply part of who she was. Those who knew Gracie will remember her strong spirit and big personality. She was stubborn in the best way, protective of the people she loved, and known for her loud laugh and unforgettable sense of humor. Gracie loved to joke, laugh, and bring light into a room. Behind her strong personality was a deeply caring heart. She was the kind of person who would do anything for someone else, often putting the needs of others before her own. Making people feel seen and cared for came naturally to her. Gracie found peace in the simple things in life. She loved being outdoors, whether that meant working outside or sitting by a fire. The outdoors brought her comfort and joy. Other joys of Gracie's life were music and her pets. Gracie was a proud beagle owner, and her dogs held a special place in her heart. Above all, Gracie was proud of her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was protective, supportive, and always believed in them. She wanted the very best for each of them and made sure they knew their best was always enough. Loving her family always came naturally to her. She is survived by her husband, John Nichols; her children, Riley Holland, Robert Nichols, Brandon Nichols and wife BreAnna, Avery Nichols, Lydia Holland, Audrie Holland, Samantha Nichols, Brittany Nichols, and Patricia Nichols; her sisters, Jan Hunt, Stephanie McNeal, Lauren Flewellen, and Lexi Flewellen; her brother, Dylan Hunt; close family members Tanya Spease, Brenda Maxwell, and G.E. Maxwell; and many grandchildren. Gracie will be remembered for her strength, her humor, and the way she always put others first. Her heart for people and her desire to make others feel valued will continue to live on through the many lives she touched. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, March 6, at the Oppelo Church of Christ with Jason Almond officiating. Arrangements are by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
