Dwight Harold Morrow

With heavy hearts and deep love, our family announces the passing of Dwight Harold Morrow, who went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 4th, 2025, at the age of 88. Dwight was born on October 4th, 1937, in England, Arkansas, to his parents Ira Edison Morrow and Lula Mae Eades. He grew up alongside his siblings Bill Morrow, Reba Leonard, and Marilyn Baber, forming bonds that stayed strong throughout his life. Dwight shared a beautiful and devoted marriage with his wife, Emilie Genette Morrow. Dwight raised three sons—Bruce Morrow (Beth), Clinton Morrow (Sara), and Ferrell Morrow(Lori)—each of whom carries forward his strength, his humor, and his steady love. He was a very proud grandfather to his six grandchildren, Matthew Morrow, Madison Epley, Tara McKenzie, Cameron Morrow, Ethan Morrow, Emily Morrow, and Jesse Morrow, and a joyful great-grandfather to Easton, Bennett, Levi, Ryder, and Madelyn. To his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, he was a gentle, dependable presence who was always quick with a smile, a story, or a warm hug. His family truly was his greatest treasure. In his younger years, Dwight played high school football for England High School, a passion that reflected his determination and team spirit. He later proudly served his country in the United States Army, spending time in Korea before returning home to continue his life of service as a Little Rock Police Officer. He carried himself with honor, courage, and humility, earning the respect of all who served alongside him. Dwight also had a heartfelt love for old cowboy movies, and he built up an impressive collection over the years. Westerns were more than entertainment for him—they reminded him of simpler times, strong values, and heroes who stood for what was right. Above all, Dwight loved his family deeply and unconditionally. He was a man of quiet strength, warm humor, and unwavering loyalty. His presence made every gathering brighter, and his absence will be felt in ways words can’t fully capture. He leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and devotion that his family will carry proudly. Though we will miss him dearly, we are grateful for every moment shared, every story told, and every memory he helped create. Dwight was deeply loved, and he will be deeply missed. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Harris Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Kilgore Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
