Clyde "Dale" Boyette

Clyde “Dale” Boyette, age 86, of Perryville, Arkansas, passed away in his home surrounded by family as he met Jesus on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. He was born August 19, 1937, in Little Rock, Arkansas, a son of the late Oda Boyette and the late Donnie “Camp” Boyette. Dale graduated from Robinson High School in 1956. He then joined the Air Force where he served four years specializing in communications with special training and recognition in Morse Code. He served as a Meat Market Manager at Safeway for many years. He was also an entrepreneur opening Dale’s Tires in 1985, which is now a third-generation business. Dale was a faithful member of Harmony Baptist Church for 75 years and served as Head Deacon. He will be remembered most for his unwavering faith and his love for the Lord and his family. He loved us all so passionately but had an extra special bond with the newest addition to our family, Sawyer who stole his Papaw's heart immediately. Dale enjoyed fishing, hunting and running deer dogs. He knew where every deer would cross like the back of his hand. We cherish the man and the legacy he leaves behind. Dale is survived by his wife of 63 years, Karen “Ellison” Boyette of Perryville; three sons, Clyde Boyette Jr of Perryville, Anthony Boyette of Perryville, Derik (Christie) Boyette of Perryville, and baby girl, Susan (Jason) Boyette-Greene of Little Rock; seven grandchildren, Anthony Boyette II, Kaleb (Mallory) Boyette, Kalee (Crystal) Boyette, Derik Boyette II, Jordan Wood, Gracie Boyette, McKinley (Monte)West; three great-grandchildren, Daniel Boyette, Samuel Boyette and Sawyer Boyette; and a nephew Michael Ellison raised as his own; brother, Butch Boyette and sister Linda Taylor. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald Boyette, John David Boyette, sister, Ida Faye Wise and grandson Dillon Boyette. Please join us in celebrating Dale’s life well lived at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 29 at Harmony Baptist Church 3915 AR Highway 10, Perryville, Arkansas with Bro. Tony Harris officiating. Burial immediately following at Harmony Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. There will be a viewing at 1:00 p.m. for friends and family.
