William Ervin Jones III, age 70, of Perryville, Arkansas, passed from this life to his eternal home on May 13th 2019. He was born on December 23, 1948 to the late Melvina Jones Johnson and William E. He worked in everything from diving, construction, plumbing, Welding Foreman at Bridger’s Coach, General Foreman for Midsouth Ambulance in Byhalia, Mississippi. His favorite by far was Law Enforcement. He went on to become a County Deputy and certified at Black Hills College as a gun instructor for Arkansas Law Enforcement. He was a Wealth of Knowledge and always willing to share it. He worked as Chief Deputy for Perry County for approximately five years. He would want you all to know how very much he loved you, and would want you to love God, live life and experience joy. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant son, Timothy Conrad Jones. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Loretta Jones of Perryville; sons, Billy Jones of Perryville and Randy Jones (Jennifer) of Plumerville; daughters, Christi Hurst (Gary) of Perryville and Tammy Martin of Oppelo; sisters, Sue Vaught of Magazine, Margie Hatfield Bodily of Bigelow, and Mary Jane Hutchinson of Perryville; grandchildren, Ryan Bradshaw (Nicole), Sheena Tackett (Chad), Amber Guzman (Reynoldo), Brandon Hurst, Chelsey Sullivan (Drew), Brittany Baisden (Jimmy), Whitney Lee (Zachary), Sydney Hurst, and MeKenzie Jones; great grandchildren, Kaydence and Kailyn Baisden, Mariela and Izabela Guzman, Alexandria, Aria, and Ava Tackett, Elana Hurst, and Andrew Sullivan.
