Waymon “Red” Edwards, age 83 of Hattieville, Arkansas. Red went to be with the Lord on January 13, 2021 at Baptist Hospital in Conway. Red was a farmer that loved his cows, chickens and his donkeys, however his best friend was his dog Buddy. When Red was not spending his days in the hay fields or at the sale barn, he would go to Nicki Jean’s store, drive the roads, or share a Coke & Ritz crackers with his friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jocie & Homer Edwards and sister, Maxine Edwards Connelly. Red is survived by his brother, Billy Gene & wife Pauline Edwards; son, Rodney & wife Brenda Edwards; daughter, Susie & husband Michael McNeely; grandchildren, Logan Edwards, Austin McNeely, Linley McNeely, Katrina & husband Benjamin Noll; great grandchildren, Kooper Mac Haynes & Devin Edwards, and many nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 16, at Lone Grove Cemetery with Pastor Michael McNeely officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, at the Harris Chapel.
