Wanda Rose Caudell Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Wanda Rose Caudell, age 83, of Meridian, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021. She was born December 8, 1938, on Petit Jean Mountain in Morrilton, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Eldridge Elton Caudell and Iva Dell “Rinehart” Caudell. She was a Claims Auditor in the Medical Insurance field for over 30 years, of the Baptist faith, a member of The Red Hat Club, Coast Guard Auxiliary, and loved the outdoors, gardening, cooking, sewing and couldn’t pass up a garage sale. She is survived by her son, Dr. William Allen (Marta) of Kansas City, Missouri; Daughter, Patricia Slusher(Jessie Wayne) of Meridian, Mississippi; sister, Evelyn Conley of Wichita, Kansas; six grandchildren; Ali, Katie, Amber, Jake, Morgan and Noah; and one great-grandchild; Bonnie Katherine and numerous family and friends. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by Baby, Cynthia Rose Grant, her siblings, Katherine Hales, Elmer Caudell, Levond Caudell, Harold Caudell, Lawrence Caudell, Jimmy Caudell, and Roger Caudell. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at the Harris Chapel with Bro. Rick Caudell officiating. Burial will be at Petit Jean Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
