Raymond Thomey

Raymond Thomey, age 87, of Morrilton, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2020. He was born February 20, 1933 in Ada Valley, a son of the late George W. Thomey, Jr. and Lucy K. Hoyt Thomey. He was a fire inspector for Trans World Airlines, and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Raymond is survived by his son, Steve Thomey of Kansas; three sisters, Marguerite Hoelzeman and Clara Talley of Morrilton and Emma Sue Briley of Vilonia; and one brother, George Thomey III of Morrilton. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry, Charles, and Harold; and one sister, Geraldine Ward. Private burial will be Friday, June 12, 2020 at Sacred Heart Cemetery with Father Jack Harris officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic School. Service and arrangements are under the direction of Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
