Larry Mayall

Larry Mayall, of Salt Lake City, Utah, formerly of Memphis, Tennessee, was a loving husband and father of five children who succumbed to a brain injury on Thursday, March 4th, 2021, at 8:59 resulting from dementia at the age of 75, just ten days shy of his 76th birthday. Larry was born on March 14th, 1945, in Morrilton, Arkansas, to Alvin and Virginia (Thomas) Mayall. He was married to Carolyn Bollinger on June 24, 1967. Together they raised five children: LaDonna, Michael, Donald, Matthew, and Mark. Larry served in the Air Force from 1964-1968. He received a Masters in Music from the University of Memphis in 1972, and an MBA from Strayer University in 2014. Larry was a life-long learner and entrepreneur at heart. He started his first business, Mayall's Fine Jewelry, in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1976. Throughout his life, he made a living as a church music minister, investment banker, auction owner, band teacher, and real estate broker. In 2004 he changed the landscape of real estate when he started First National Realty - the first 100% commission agency in the Mid-South. He spent the rest of his life mentoring and advocating for his agents. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Alvin, and his mother, Virginia. He is survived by his wife Carol, five children and ten grandchildren, brothers Lynn, Karl, Randy, Kevin, sister Finele, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 13th, 2021, at Harris Funeral Home in Morrilton, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Halbrook Cemetery near Center Ridge, Arkansas.
