Ila Davidson, 85, of Plumerville, AR was welcomed by Jesus Christ into her Eternal Home on Friday, January 29, 2021. She was born March 20, 1935 in Birdtown, AR to the late Dave Wesley and Iris (Bishop) Huett. Ila was a member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church for over 50 years serving in various areas of teaching children and Women’s Ministry, leading as VBS Director, taking part in music ministry, petitioning Heaven as a Prayer Warrior and being faithful through benevolent acts of love and kindness to all. Ila was preceded in death by both parents, sister Elsie Porter, brothers Everett Huett and Henry Huett, son Steve Davidson, and granddaughter Kayla Jo Biggers. Survivors include her husband Jimmy “Bo” Davidson; sister Wilma Branton of Sherwood, AR; daughters Nancy (Jimmy) Hart and Judy (Gus) Biggers both of Springfield, AR; daughter-in-law Kathy Davidson of Little Rock, AR; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Ila will always be lovingly remembered by her sweet spirit and radiant smile that lit up the room and caused her eyes to disappear. Through this joy and love Ila lived her life giving and serving others. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and a caregiver to all generations. Her love for God and His Word, nature, camping with family, and gardening led Ila to live out the scriptures Galatians 5:22-26. Her fruit will preserve a legacy of Christ and His love to everyone who knew her and will share her with generations to come. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be at Kilgore Cemetery. Arrangements are by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton, AR. Service will be live streamed on Mt Pleasant Baptist Church Facebook page @MPBC Hillcreek.
