Hurley Ray Sigler

Hurley Ray Sigler, age 95, of Oppelo, Arkansas, passed away Monday, February 10, 2020. He was born August 7, 1924 in Austin, Arkansas, a son of Lonnie Sigler and Annie Henry Sigler. Hurley was an independent truck driver for 40 years, worked at Westing House for seventeen and half years, Jimmy Carter Trucking for fourteen years, and retired in 1996. He was a member and deacon at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, Mason and Shriner. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Maxine Sigler of Oppelo; two sons, Jimmie Sigler (Charlene) of Oppelo and Gary Sigler (Dinah) of Jerusalem; stepson, Jerry Reid (Barbie) of Wichita Falls, Texas; daughter, Patricia Smith (David) of Plumerville; two stepdaughters, Mary Blades of Pearcy and Linda Sigler of Oppelo; thirteen grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Loretta Miller. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 13, at Center Ridge Cemetery with Bro.
