Glen E. May

September 24, 1941 - January 26, 2022

Glen E. May, age 80, of Houston, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022. He was born September 24, 1941 in Tyronza, Arkansas, a son of the late O.H. May and Adona Rooney May. He was a transportation coordinator for the Bigelow East End school system and was of the Assembly of God faith. He is survived by his wife Essie McGlothlin May, of Houston; three daughters, Rhonda (Jim) Rankin, Rebecca Frazier, and Teresa Prince all from Houston; six grandchildren, Fred (Amber) May of Houston, Shayna (Shawn) Dickson of Morrilton, Zach (Tisha) Mayo of Perryville, Kristen (Seth) O’Brien of Adona, Haley Prince of Conway, Sawyer Frazier of Houston; eight great-grandchildren, Carter, Gracen, Kyndall May of Houston, Addy and Beckett Mayo of Perryville, Sam Dickson of Morrilton, Klayton and Kolton Treadway of Adona; sister, Mary May Trapp of Marked Tree; and a host of nieces and nephews. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 31 at Harris Chapel with Bro. Jason Guffey officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the Harris Chapel. Burial will be at Antioch Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. Pallbearers will be Fred May, Seth O’Brien, Zach Mayo, Shawn Dickson, Sawyer Frazier, and Carter May.
