Donald Roe Godfrey age 88, of Morrilton, Arkansas, passed away Friday, December 11, 2020. He was born June 3, 1932, in Booneville, Arkansas, the son of the late William Roe Godfrey and Charlynne Garner Godfrey. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and a retired Civil Engineer with the Army Corps. Of Engineers. Survivors include his wife Anna Marie Rohlman Godfrey of Morrilton; son, Mark (Lee) Godfrey of Moultrie, Georgia; three grandchildren, Sara, Holly, and Daniel; one great-grandchild, Jayda. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Joyce Ann Godfrey. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 14, 2020, at Sacred Heart Cemetery with Father Jack Harris officiating. Rosary will be 7:00 p.m. Sunday, December 13, at the Harris Chapel. Arrangements are by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. In Lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to Sacred Heart Capital Campaign or the Joyce Godfrey Scholarship Fund at Holberg Ecology Camp, 804 Konrad Court, Little Rock, Arkansas 72223-9210.
