Clayton Lonnel Holyfield, 40 from Goshen, Indiana, formally of Hattieville, Arkansas, went to heaven May 17, 2019. He was born on September 26, 1978, in Mishawaka, Indiana to Bob and Betty (Jones) Holyfield. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Renee Hunter Holyfield and their son Hunter David Delayne Holyfield, his parents, Bob and Betty Holyfield of Hattieville, Arkansas. Also surviving, his brother, Delayne Holyfield of Hattieville, Arkansas, and sister and brother in law, Karla (Holyfield) and Dallas Evans and three nephews Hudson, Liam and Bekham Evans all of Mansfield, Texas, his brother in law, John David Hunter, his father in law and mother in law Johnny and Joann Hunter and his papaw Eugene Hunter all of Middlebury, Indiana, his sister in law Billie Williams and her children, Chelsey, Briana, Bryson and Braydyn all of Russellville, Arkansas, niece and nephew Alexis and Austin Smith of Solgohachia, Arkansas, and a host of aunts uncles, cousins and friends. Clayton’s death was preceded by his grandparents Garland and Jeanie Holyfield and Ira and Ella Mae Jones. Clayton was a 1997 graduate of Wonderview High School, Hattieville, Arkansas. Clayton received his license to minister with the Assemblies of God in 2003. His ministry will be remembered as one who takes Christ to the school, marketplace, workplace and with all others who came across his path. He was also a caregiver and a landscaper. Clayton will be remembered as one who put his heart and soul into the Hattieville Family Worship Center Church. He was an amazing son, brother, husband, daddy, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He was a soul winner for his Lord Jesus Christ; “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise” Proverbs 11:30. “But this one thing I do: Forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus” Philippians 3:13-14. “I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth” Psalm 121:1-2. A Celebration of Life Visitation and Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 25, 2019. Visitation 10:00 am and Funeral Service at 11:00 am at Hattieville Family Worship Center, 26 Hwy 213, Hattieville, Arkansas 72063. (at the t-intersection of Hwy 95 & 213). Chaplain Bob Holyfield and Pastor John Utley will be officiating. Sharing in the service will be Stephanie Holyfield, Karla Evans, Johnny Hunter and Betty Holyfield. Burial will be at Robertstown Cemetery (Jerusalem, Arkansas), and a dinner following at Hattieville Family Worship Center Church. Pallbearers will be John David Hunter, Johnny Hunter, Delayne Holyfield, Dallas Evans, Travis Turnage, Clayton Jones, Jamie Coffman, Greg Baker, Danny Ward, Wayne Holyfield, Rick Price, Scott Hagan, Brandon Harris, and Andrew Fowler. Honorary Pallbearers will be Hunter Holyfield, Hudson Evans, Liam Evans, and Bekham Evans.
