Barbara Nell King Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Barbara Nell King, age 80, of Perryville, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022. She was born March 14, 1942, in Antioch, Arkansas, the daughter of the late William R. Cannon and the late Ruby Marie “Rankin” Cannon. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Perryville. Barbara enjoyed doing genealogy, loved gardening, and watching her flowers grow but her favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and family. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Bill King; son, Richie (Nettie) King; daughter, Lori (Scott) Grice; grandchildren, Cheyenne (Cora) King, Tyrell (Brittany) King, Alicia (Coy) Boyd, Matthew (Haleigh) Sparks, Meagan (Kevin) Weddle, Kevin Sparks, and Katie Grice; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, Billy Cannon; sisters, Debbie Bradley, Lynn Skelton, and Susie Cannon; and a host of nieces and nephews. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bobby Cannon, Jerry Cannon, and Joey Cannon. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 11, at the First Baptist Church in Perryville. Burial will be at Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the church. Pallbearers will be Coy Boyd, Cheyenne King, Matthew Sparks, Brian Cannon, Josh Cannon and Cory Reeder.
