William Henry Moll

William Henry Moll, age 89, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018. He was born on January 25, 1929 in Morrilton, Arkansas to William Moll and Ethel Grantham Moll. He attended Sacred Heart School, served in the Arkansas National Guard for three years, and then served in the U.S. Air Force for nine years. He worked as a concrete finisher until he retired with Fox Valley Construction in Illinois. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morrilton. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Lou Elder Moll of Morrilton; his sons, Dale (Linda) and Alan Moll of Illinois; daughter, Carol Pescitani (Ron) of Arizona; step-children, Sheila (Stan) Willis, Ruby (Michael) Shoesmith, Ray Moll Jr. and Rhonda Moll all of Morrilton; grandsons, Michael Moll of Wisconsin, and Jeremy Moll of Illinois; granddaughters, Trish Moll, Jennifer Kucan, Heather Haak and Jamie Rosinski all of Illinios; step-grandsons, Bryan Shoesmith of Conway and Scott Willis of Hattieville, step-granddaughters, Kristian Poole of Hattieville, Jennifer Berkemeyer and Michelle Jones of Morrilton, and Ashley Gray of Russellville; fourteen great-grandchildren, thirteen step- great-grandchildren, three great-great-granddaughters; one brother, Harold Moll and one sister, Margaret Lanni. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Lorraine Glander Moll; daughter, Mary Moll; sisters, Rose Marie Gottsponer and Virginia Miller; brother, Joseph Moll; and step-great-grandchild, Jhet Gray. Pallbearers will be Bryan Shoesmith, Scott Willis, Stan Willis, Joey Moll, Andrew Poole, and Gabe Gartman. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Moll, Mike Shoesmith, Sam Berkemeyer, Jason Poole, Josh Berkemeyer, Dagan Shoesmith, Matt Jones and Nathan Gray. Rosary will be Thursday, March 15th, at 6:00 p.m. at Harris Funeral Home in Morrilton with visitation following until 8:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 16th, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morrilton. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Sacred Heart Capital Campaign Fund.
