Virginia "Ginger" Lambert

Virginia A. “Ginger” DeSalvo Lambert, age 90, resident of Carmichael, CA, died Saturday, December 11, 2021, in Conway, AR. Born June 16, 1931, in Center Ridge, AR, to Tony L. and Josephine M. (Rossi) DeSalvo. She has been a California resident since 1952. Ginger worked as an executive secretary for several companies in the San Francisco Bay Area upon moving to California. Later she pursued a professional career in California as a Realtor for over 30 years. She also was a member of the Supreme Emblem Club, an unofficial auxiliary of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. Ginger married Weymon D. “Bert” Lambert in April 1953. Survivors include her son, Garrett W. Lambert of Carmichael, CA; daughter Wendy A. Lambert of Folsom, CA; beloved stepson, William J. Lambert of Cloverdale, CA; grandson Robert John “R.J.” Wichert and wife Cindy Zhou Wichert of Folsom, CA; grandson Jon M. Lambert of Cloverdale, CA; grandson David J. Lambert and wife Kimberly Baumann Lambert of Petaluma, CA; great grand-daughters Zoe K. Wichert, Siena N. Lambert, and Tessa M. Lambert. Virginia is also survived by her sisters Clara Granger of Edmond, OK; Patricia Hart and Margaret Hart of Springfield, AR; Christina Koch, Angela Malik, and Delores Hartman of Morrilton, AR; Antonette Hall of Greenbrier, AR; Beatrice Miller of Center Ridge, AR; her brothers Thomas DeSalvo and Tony J. DeSalvo of Center Ridge, AR, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her Parents and her beloved stepmother Frances Paladino DeSalvo; her husband of 47 years Weymon D. “Bert” Lambert; her brothers Augustine DeSalvo, Fr. Raphael DeSalvo, OSB (Order of St. Benedict), Michael DeSalvo, Henry DeSalvo, Abraham DeSalvo, and Br. Tobias DeSalvo, OSB; her sisters Emma DeSalvo Petty and Sr. Marie Rose DeSalvo, OSB; and her beloved daughter-in-law Beverly J. Lambert. All services will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morrilton, AR, on Thursday, December 16, 2021; with Rosary at 10:00 AM and Visitation to immediately follow. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at a later date at Calvary Cemetery in Citrus Heights, CA. In lieu of flowers, memorial expressions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 343 Catholic Point Road, Center Ridge, AR 72027.
