Ruby Jewel Hill, 77, of Solgohachia, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026. She was born August 4, 1948, in Morrilton, Arkansas, the daughter of Elmer Lois Hill and Billie Faye Flowers Hill. She was a selfless, God-fearing woman whose love for her family defined her life. She was the true picture of strength, grace, and devotion. A hardworking woman who never complained and never quit, she poured herself into the people she loved and made sure they always came first. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose presence was steady, comforting, and unwavering. Her faith guided her steps, her family filled her heart, and her home was always full of love. She was a hard worker with a generous heart, a loyal friend, and a devoted sister whose kindness touched so many lives. Anyone who knew her knew they always had someone in their corner. She had a love for jewelry (her bling, as she called it) and believed a woman should never leave the house without looking put together. You would never catch her without her hair fixed just right. She carried herself with pride and dignity everywhere she went. And if there was a sale happening somewhere, she probably already knew about it. She loved shopping and could turn even a quick trip into an adventure. Whether it was something sparkling or something she “just couldn’t pass up,” she enjoyed every minute of it. Survived by her son, Michael Hill (Nina); her grandchildren, Alisha Brown (Dylan), Dallas Hill (Mandy), and Nate Walker; sisters, Diane Williams (Jimmy), Margaret Latham (Terry); and several great-grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. Preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Billie Faye Hill; her beloved husband, Jimmy Hill; her sister, Sue Keller; and her brother, Ronnie Hill. We take comfort knowing she is reunited with them once again. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 28, at the Harris Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Williams and Bro. Terry Latham officiating. Burial will be at Kilgore Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Dallas Hill, Nate Walker, Dylan Brown, Josh Uptigrove, Justin Uptigrove, and Dawson Cato. Memorial donations may be made to the Kilgore Cemetery Fund at #1 Leman Jones Dr., Springfield, AR 72157. Her legacy lives on in the strength she instilled, the faith she modeled, and the unconditional love she gave so freely. To know her was to be loved by her.
