Patsy Regina Bull

Patsy Regina Watkins Bull, born January 4, 1941 in Pearcy, Arkansas to Ralph Phillip and Clara Evelyn Peirce Watkins, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at age 75. She was a housewife and mother for many years, babysitting and doing odd jobs. In 1981, she started work at the new Perry County Nursing Home (now Nursing and Rehabilitation Center) PCNRC. She cared for and loved the residents for 30 years, retiring five years ago and going to live there for the past three. Her family at PCNRC loved and cared for her for most of her adult life. Helping and loved by so many people for 30 years, she was praised by all the staff, old and new. Patsy attended church at the Aplin Church of Christ, her church family was very important to her. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She was generous with her love, as well as her possessions. Her pets were her family, too. She did not have "a mean bone in her body" and would "give you the shirt off her back." These were phrases people used to describe her. Her grandchildren knew without a doubt that they were the apple of her eye. She is survived by her children, Teresa Bull (Darryl) Little of Conway and Tracy Bull (Mary) of Perryville; grandchildren, Hollie Little (Kenneth) Woodruff, Zach (Morgan) Little, Coleman Little, Charly Bull (Tyler) Cody, Jake Trotter (Rachel), Stella and Mollie; great grandchildren, Clayre, Izabelle, Alex, and Luke Woodruff, Olivia Cody, and Marlee Little; brothers, Jackie Watkins and Jerry (Jo) Watkins; sisters, Linda Watkins Phillips and Sherry Watkins (Royce) Barry; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bull; brothers, Harlan Watkins and Lewis Watkins; nephews, Lewis Phillip Watkins and Jason Watkins; brother in law, Joe Phillips; and sister in laws, Parthenia Watkins and Judy Bull Netherton. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 18, at Aplin Church of Christ with Mr. Charles Smith officiating. Private burial at a later date.
