Mary Jean Bryant Paladino

With profound sadness, the family of Mary Jean Bryant Paladino, age 66, of Center Ridge, announce she passed away Monday, August 15, 2022, with her loving family by her side. She was born June 9, 1956 to the late Hershel and Anna Lorene Thompson Bryant. Mary Jean was a graduate of Nemo Vista Schools, Center Ridge, AR. She retired from the school district in May 2021, after thirty-one years serving as a teacher assistant. Her prior employment was the former Arrow Automotive Industries, Morrilton, AR. She was a devoted wife to Nathan Paladino for forty-three years, marrying on May 5, 1979, loving mother to their son Nathan Angelo (Brittney) Paladino, and doting, proud “Granny” to her three grandchildren, Douglas Natale “Nat”, Lola Bella and Lena Maria. She is survived by her husband Nathan, their son Angelo and his wife Brittney, their children Nat, Lola and Lena; her sisters Sue Barnes, Pat Ferricher, Karen Paladino, brothers Hershel Bryant, Jr. and Lynn (Terry) Bryant, sister-in-law Barbara Bryant, and brother-in-law David Anders, her Paladino family, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Other than her parents; she was preceded in death by sisters Marion Ann Bryant and Betty Anders; brothers William “Bill” Bryant and Charles Bryant. Mary Jean lived a full life caring for her parents, loving her family and friends, and mentoring her students. She was an avid reader, loved to watch cooking shows, and designing floral arrangements, and was well known for her delicious desserts and wonderful meals. Christmas was Mary Jean’s favorite season. She loved to decorate and bake trays of sweet treats for family and friends. Mary Jean was an active member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Center Ridge, where she taught youth CCD classes, a member of the Ladies Altar Society, and the December committee decorating the church for the Advent and Christmas season. The funeral mass will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 18, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Center Ridge with Father Jack Harris and Father Joseph Friend officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. Rosary will be from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. at the Harris Chapel with the family receiving friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to: St. Joseph’s Cemetery Fund, 343 Catholic Point Road, Center Ridge AR 72027.
